Alnath (B Tauri) and the eclipsed Moon
Totality here in China was conveniently around 10:30 pm, so I went out to try to get some shots of the show. I used a Nikon D60 with a Tamron 70-300 mm zoom lens, mounted on a tripod. This shot is at 70mm, f5.6, 1.6 seconds, ASA 300. The star at left is Alnath, the second brightest star in Taurus.
